Even if you live in America, you may not have ever heard of Sheboygan. But it is one of the greatest cities in the state of Wisconsin. When the census was taken ten years ago, the amount of people living in Sheboygan was found to be fifty thousand, seven hundred and ninety two. The site is found on the corner of Lake Michigan, and also close to the Sheboygan river (as you would expect). The city of Sheboygan is not that big, at only 36 point 6 square kilometres. About 1% of that is water. Now I know you really want to know about the history of this city. Well, Sheboygan came about in 1846. The site was come across by German settlers just about 36 months later. When this happened, there were fewer than 1000 citizens of the land. And now in 2010, there is over 50,000 people – it’s crazy. Amazing isn’t it.
There are a lot of businesses and local industries in Sheboygan. One revolutionary discovery that was made is that in smaller and rural towns, many people use the internet to generate an income. A recent survey has found remarkable results – many people in Sheboygan, who earn decent incomes, don’t have a job, or even a shop. Rather, they work on the internet. Now as you would imagine, the vast majority of internet marketers do not make a fortune. The appeals of an internet business are huge. You can work when you want, where you want. You should know that to make a really strong income, it usually takes months, if not years. You will find an airport, and there are several highways that enter. Perhaps the most famous thing about Sheboygan is The Sheboygan Press, which is well known around America. Now even though many people in Sheboygan do rely on internet marketing in order to make a living, there is a lot that gets done in the city in terms of businesses and industry. Some may argue that internet marketers do not really contribute to their local society. But, they do contribute by bringing money in and spending it.
But if you want to make a living off the internet, by no means do you have to be living in Sheboygan. You can in fact do it from anywhere in the world. But many local businesses in Sheboygan rely on the city for their living. It is certainly an interesting change that is happening, as millions of people try to make their new livings off the internet.
